Modern Slavery Act Statement
Introduction
This Statement is made on behalf of SDG Central Limited pursuant to section 54 (1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes our slavery and human trafficking statement.
We are committed to preventing acts of modern slavery and human trafficking from occurring with both its business and supply chain, and seeks to partner with suppliers, contractors and business partners that uphold the same standard.

As an equal opportunities employer, we're committed to creating and ensuring a non-discriminatory and respectful working environment for our staff. We want all our staff to feel confident that they can expose wrongdoing without any risk to themselves.

Our recruitment and people management processes are designed to ensure that all prospective employees are legally entitled to work in the UK and to safeguard employees from any abuse or coercion.
We do not enter into business with any organisation, in the UK or abroad, which knowingly supports or is found to be involved in slavery, servitude and forced or compulsory labour.
Organisational structure and supply chain
The nature of our business of providing advisor, consultancy and IT services within the UK and worldwide means that our supply chains are limited in number, and therefore the risk of modern slavery within the business is deemed to be low.
As a consulting business, SDG Central works to professional standards and complies with all laws, regulations, and relevant rules. We ensure that all staff directly employed by SDG Central Ltd do so at their own free-will and understand that they can cease their employment at any time under the terms of their employment contract. They are required to follow the SDG Central policies and procedures. We abide by the Working Time Directive and staff can withdraw at any time.
We will be working with our current/new suppliers, contractors, and business partners to certify that they do not engage in slavery or human trafficking, or any activity associated with these offences. Suppliers will be asked to certify that each product complies with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and any other law regarding slavery and human trafficking of the country/countries in which the materials are sourced.
We will be raising internal awareness, by internal communications, to enable our key staff to understand the requirements of the Modern Slavery Act and enable them to identify potential issues.
This statement has been approved by the management of SDG Central Ltd who will review and update it regularly.
